MPH recently teamed up with Saatchi X to produce a dramatic and visually
stunning in- store film for Samsung.
The technology giant required a compelling product demonstration to promote
their new DNLA certified wireless devices. The creative approach was to feature
Parkour free running, to convey the idea of 'freedom without wires'.
Directed by Darren Statman (Academy) and shot on the RED camera, with
DOP Ali Asad (Rise of the Foot Soldier), the film features lead free runner
STICKY pulling off some jaw dropping stunts.
To counter the usual urban setting associated with free-running, STICKY lets loose
in a traditional country manor. He runs, jumps and flips his way through rooms,
hallways and stairwells all the while being captured on camera by his beautiful
girlfriend.
Death defying stunts, fluid effortless action shots, slow motion techniques and
special effects compositing, made this a hugely successful dramatization of a
product for a world leading brand.
This film is set to be launched in November 2009 and will feature on large screens in
Samsung stores, and also within John Lewis.
