Man and Boy
Co-directed by David Leon and Marcus McSweeney, and starring Eddie Marsan (Vera Drake, Happy-Go-Lucky), Geoff Bell (RocknRolla) and Calum McNab (The Firm). The film is the second collaboration for the directing duo, following on from the first film 'Father', which MPH were heavily involved in the Post Production of.

Man and Boy is derived from the 2008 real-life story of Scott Campbell, who plunged to his death from the balcony of his flat in Bolton while trying to flee a mob of vigilantes.

The film imagines the events leading up to and after that fatal moment, as an impulsive reaction to a paternal instinct leads to accusations of manslaughter after the death of an innocent man.

Played out from the perspectives of the father, the son and an older man, it examines how miscommunication and a thirst for revenge lead to unforeseen and tragic consequences.
